Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring?

A large towel, change bag for baby and feeding bottles if necessary

What happens if my baby needs feeding or falls asleep?

The classes are very relaxed and you can do whatever you need to do to keep your baby happy. You can feed, change, and cuddle – anything at all. The strokes will be reviewed each week and handouts given out at the end of each class so there is no need to worry about missing parts.

What age do the babies need to be?

Infant massage is for all ages however these classes are usually more beneficial to babies that are 6 weeks minimum and under one year old.

I am finding it difficult to bond, will this help?

Bonding with your baby can take time and doesn’t always happen easily. The bonding experience can be encouraged through touch, spending quality time together and through eye-to-eye contact with your baby. Baby massage can play a vital role in this process, particularly if you struggled due to postnatal depression, a premature baby or a difficult birth.

Can the father of my baby do the course?

Yes! We encourage fathers to come along where possible. Baby massage is a great thing for dad’s to do, as they can often feel left out, especially if the mum is breastfeeding. It is a fantastic bonding experience for them both.

What if I need to cancel my course?

If you cancel before the course begins then you will be given a full refund. If you cancel during the course then unfortunately you cannot get a refund. You will be able to join another class at a more suitable time if you would like to.
